Company Experience

Michael Hart, Chief Financial Officer, has a combined ten years of financial analyst and accounting experience. He is responsible for the financial and administrative functions for J.C. Hart Company, Inc., and serves on the Executive Committee. Michael joined J.C. Hart Company, Inc. in July 2010 as a financial analyst. During the past several years, Michael Hart has been instrumental in placing over $625,000,000 in debt for the J.C. Hart Company and its related partnerships. Approximately $370,055,755 of this debt was successfully placed in the permanent market through CMBS, Freddie Mac and various insurance companies. The remaining debt relates to construction loans for projects the Company is currently developing.

Professional Accomplishments

In 2008, Michael began his career as a staff auditor and tax preparer at Katz, Sapper and Miller and served clients in the real estate, manufacturing and transportation industries. During his tenure at Katz, Sapper and Miller, Michael earned his CPA certification with the State of Indiana. Prior to his accounting career, Michael worked for the region’s top real estate brokers in the mortgage lending and multi-family investment sales industries.

Education

Michael is a 2008 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where he doubled majored in Accounting and Real Estate Finance and graduated with High Distinction from the Kelley School of Business.

Michael is an active participant in fundraising efforts for the St. Mary’s Child Center in Indianapolis, IN.
